By using the AIWorkGuard browser extension or the AIWorkGuardTools website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the extension or the website.2. What AIWorkGuard does
AIWorkGuard is a desktop browser extension intended for long AI conversations. It has two main functions:- Create clean continuation / handoff TXT files from long AI conversations.
- Help large conversations stay lighter and more manageable in the desktop browser.
AIWorkGuard is a productivity tool. It is designed to assist the user, not to replace user review, judgment, or responsibility.
3. User responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing any generated handoff TXT file before using it in a new conversation or sharing it elsewhere. AIWorkGuard may help organize continuation context, but it cannot guarantee that every detail from a long conversation is complete, correct, or suitable for your intended use.- Review generated TXT files before use.
- Do not include sensitive information unless you understand the risk.
- Use the extension only for lawful and appropriate purposes.
- Do not rely on the extension as professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical advice.
4. Local browser operation
AIWorkGuard is designed to run locally in the user’s desktop browser. The extension does not operate an external server for processing conversation content. Handoff TXT files are created for the user’s own workflow and downloaded locally by the browser.5. Desktop cleanup and mobile visibility
AIWorkGuard may hide generated handoff text from the current desktop browser view after the TXT file is created. This is intended to keep the active desktop workspace cleaner. This cleanup is local to the browser where the extension is running.Desktop cleanup does not delete messages from the AI service and may not affect what appears on mobile devices or other browsers where AIWorkGuard is not running.
6. Long Chat Guard and conversation scan estimates
AIWorkGuard may show detected, visible, hidden, or scanned conversation information. These indicators are intended to help users understand the current desktop browser page state. They are estimates based on detected conversation content.Conversation scan and hidden-turns percentages are not measured RAM values, are not server-side metrics, and should not be interpreted as exact browser memory measurements.
7. Browser support
AIWorkGuard is designed for desktop browser use. It is available for Chrome and Chromium-based desktop browsers through the Chrome Web Store, and for Firefox through Mozilla Add-ons.Mobile apps and mobile browsers may not support the same extension workflow.
8. Website content and downloadable materials
AIWorkGuardTools may provide guides, FAQ pages, support pages, release notes, downloadable PDFs, or other instructional materials. These materials are provided for convenience and may be updated over time. Downloadable instructions, PDF guides, or examples should be reviewed by the user before relying on them.9. Prohibited use
You agree not to use AIWorkGuard or AIWorkGuardTools for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful purposes.- Do not use the extension to violate the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, misuse, or redistribute the extension improperly.
- Do not use the tool to process or share content you are not authorized to use.
- Do not misrepresent AIWorkGuard as an official product of another company.
10. No warranty
AIWorkGuard and AIWorkGuardTools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the extension or website will always be available, error-free, compatible with every browser version, or suitable for every use case.11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AIWorkGuardTools and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of the extension or website. Users remain responsible for reviewing generated files, managing their own data, and deciding how to use AI conversation content.12. Third-party services and independence
AIWorkGuard may be used with third-party AI websites or browser platforms, but it is not owned, endorsed, sponsored, or officially connected to those services.AIWorkGuard is an independent, unofficial browser extension. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to OpenAI, ChatGPT, Google, Chrome, Mozilla, Firefox, or any AI platform.
